Payment Terms and Conditions

The deposit

The deposit is required to hold your place on the tour.

In the case a participant cancelled, the following will happen:

  • If the participant cancels at least 90 days before the tour date, they’ll receive a full refund (minus a 5% fee)

  • All participants will be made aware of the right to withdraw their refund if needed.

  • If the participants cancels within 90 days of the tour start date, the deposit will not be refunded.

Payment

Full payment is required by 90 days before the tour starts.

In case a payment is delayed:

  • The participant will risk losing their space for someone else on the waitlist

  • Before that, Hugo will do his best to make contact with the participant to work out the payment.

In case the trip is cancelled by the participant at least 90 days before the start of the tour, and they have completed the entire payment:

  • they’ll receive a full refund (minus a 10% fee)

  • If the trip is cancelled by them within 89 days of the tour starting, no refund will be given, unless someone on the waitlist is able to fill their spot.

In case the trip is cancelled by Hugo, you’ll receive a full refund.

Booking terms

When you make a booking, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined on this page. You must be following the following terms in order to join a tour or trip by Hugo Korhonen:

  • A travel insurance to cover travel-related cancellations - or a participant must provide Hugo Korhonen with a written email accepting responsibility for not having an insurance.

  • Camera gear insurance - or a participant must provide Hugo Korhonen with a written email accepting responsibility for not having an insurance.

  • Follow all rules set forth by Hugo Korhonen regarding safety.

  • Follow all rules set forth by Hugo Korhonen regarding environmental dangers.

  • The participant must notify Hugo of any prescriptions in c ase of a medical emergency. This can come in also in the form of a sealed envelope, or alternative method, to maintain privacy.

Right to dismiss the participant

Hugo Korhonen retains the right to dismiss any participant while on tour if one of the following happen:

  • Breaks any local laws.

  • Refuses the rules put in place by Hugo.

  • Dangerous behaviour which endangers themselves, or other participants.

  • Consumpts any illegal drugs

  • is physically or verbally abusive.
